Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative style of yoga that focuses on deep relaxation and stillness. Unlike more dynamic practices, Yin targets the body’s connective tissues—ligaments, joints, fascia, and bones—through long, passive holds that typically last between 2 to 10 minutes. It’s a gentle yet powerful practice that invites you to soften, surrender, and turn inward. Drawing inspiration from Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin Yoga works with the body’s energy pathways (meridians), helping to restore balance and harmony throughout the system. It’s a perfect complement to more active “yang” styles of yoga and modern, fast-paced lifestyles. What to Bring: Comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. A yoga mat and any personal props you prefer for support (blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters, etc. are provided.)
